Wool socks

I haven't looked up the Darn Tough yet but which ones are the warmest?
I think these are the ones I have. I know they're full cushion. Have 3 pair and they all look different.

These off the shelf at Walmart have worked really well for me for years and a pair lasts 2-3 years because I have about 5-6 pair that I rotate weekly. They are plenty warm for hunting in the fall/winter and I even wear them in the summer because they cushion my boney feet and area available in XL.

I have some darn tough that were issued to us, I just can't do it, too thick and too warm for me. Of course, I have been losing circulation, so may give them another try if it gets cold enough.

I buy the highest wool content I can find. Another thing that really helps is to replace the original insole with a wool felt insole. I buy a variety of thicknesses and use the thickest that the boot allows.
This really helps with moisture management and makes the boot more comfortable.

kuiu merino wool. comfortable, keep my feet dry on longer walks, dont fall down in my boots. the trick i learned is when its really cold, i will wait and throw a toasty toes warmer in my boots after i get settled in the stand and feel my toes get chilled
