Worst rut weather I can recall

Southwest Wayne rut going on now. 7 bucks after 1 doe yesterday. The next 7-10 days should be fun.

What area you hunt in if you don't mind me asking? And don't say Lutts. "Lutts" is literally half of Wayne Co. haha.

Wow my old stomping grounds. Lord the joke used to be when I hunted that area was that most of the bucks wore sunglasses to help with the spotlighting at night. Lol lol. I have some great memories there from my dads old farm. Good luck to you!

78 and muggy today in SW TN. I have been running the A/C in truck and house last few days.

I'm in North Lauderdale, AL. Tell me about it. Full moon & warmer than normal weather during normal window for rutt. I think the rut here was spread out more than it usually is.

Same in N Limestone County, 7 miles south of the TN line.

It's 83deg now in south MS. Had to take my cap off I was sweating so hard checking cams and moving them around. Bucks still in bachelor groups, but new scrapes are opening up.

Havent seen a deer in the past 3 sits. Despite being off this afternoon, I just couldn't muster the desire to swat mosquitoes.

It's so hot here in NW Alabama I have started seeing a few bucks in velvet.

I have been seeing some older bucks and younger bucks on there feet. this week I got pics of couple really good bucks and couple youngens. And seen a mature scent checking Monday late afternoon. The ones I got on cam was Monday night. Just seen a good buck 10 feet behind a doe with my headlights. So I'm not sure exactly but some activity is going on. I'm in east Tn by the way.
