Anyone gonna try em this morning? Headed to meet a buddy who had 5 put to bed but this wind is gonna b killer! Tomorrow weather doesn't look any better!

I could hear one gobbling from my driveway this morning. I really thought about calling in sick! Haven't hunted since Easter morning.
 
Weather is nice today. Wind picked up an hour or two ago, but it's bearable. Was working a tom shortly after fly down this morning, but he would not leave his ridge, and drifted away on another property. Trying to strike a mid morning bird before I load up the boat and drive home.

Ours had lock jaw on roost. Got on 2 more around 930 and they came within 100 yards and hens pulled em back away! Headed to try another farm for afternoon!

I only heard 1 on roost this morning, I actually had him fired up on the ground but he drifted away, probably hens. I got on another bird around 1030 or 11am, I thought for sure he was coming, but he hung up too...eventually found out he had a hen too when she came looking for me. She led him slowly down the holler never to be seen or heard again. I packed it up and am headed home.
