you know ive eaten bbq up north before and its not what we call bbq. BUT, i was pleasantly surprised in Ohio last week during a trip to see my new grandson at a place called 7 mile smokehouse. smoked on wood, bought 2'lbs of pulled pork, moist, tender, and had some bark mixed in just the way i like it. sides were baked beans, cole slaw, baked mac and cheese, and sweet potatoe casserole. only problem i saw was the sauce, which wasnt bad but when i order HOT its better be HOT, and they looked at me funny when i asked if they had potatoe salad. oh well it aint perfect but if you find yourself north east of Cincinnati in a town called Chilicothe and have a hankering for bbq then 7 mile aint too bad.
