used to catch those things up over 10 lb as fast as you could throw a small white grub into the white water on the Holston at Rogersville. TVA put a stop to that, now the lake covers those rapids LONG before the water gets to the right temps. ruined wading the river for walleye too. does EVERYWHERE have to be good for boats? seriously? the areas i used to wear walleye out wading have boats trolling there BEFORE turkey season even opens. they used to keep it low enough for the fish to spawn before filling the dang lake up all the way to the steamplant.
