I know I have plenty of problems..... who in their right mind will wander on private property you know is leased without at least an orange hat on ?? You want me to tell you who...game wardens did it twice on the lease I had in Giles Co. That why I commented practice what you preach. But they lost that ability to just wander on someone private property.

They're still pissed over that.

I agree agents should wear orange hats if they are in field aside from parking areas/roads. He didn't issue a citation for that though. I really don't get the animosity toward TWRA. Some of the agents I've met comes off a little egotistical at first but after they figure out you're abiding by the law are pretty down to earth folks and I've had a lengthy down to earth conversation with each.

I've been checked a bunch waterfowl hunting, fishing, and a couple times deer hunting. Never a citation but never broke the law either. Only negative I ever had was taking a few calls to dispatch to get a warden out to my private property over an issue. He explained he was covering multiple counties and handled my situation appropriately when he did make it out.

Wouldn't you think if they would respect those hunting and not come onto the property during prime hunting time would gain them respect. They ruined my grandson's hunt and that was our last day . All because they thought someone was trespassing on their lease . If you want respect first you have to give it !! Don't care who you are. It wasn't a call it was their personal lease .
