Yellow mustard

First time I ever saw a turkey deep fried it was covered in yellow mustard with dry seasoning over mustard.....I wasn't convinced in the method at first....but the crust on the turkey was amazing.... very good.
 
I've used it every time since hearing about it and it definitely helps keep the rub on and makes for an amazing bark. I must admit though, I've never tried it on ribs so I'll be keeping an eye on this thread for some input.
