20 g turkey gun options

If I was going to buy a new 20 gauge turkey gun it would probably be the Franchi Affinity 3. Now if I just had $3,000 laying around obviously the Benelli M2 Turkey would be what I would get.

I have also been looking at the Retay Masai and Gordion turkey guns. They seem to get good reviews online at sportsman's warehouse etc. But I don't know anyone on here that has one. I would like to talk to someone that has one or see some unbiased review on this sight or others that aren't trying to sell me the gun.
I know of 4 Masai that all shot 12-24" low straight out of the box.

I saw a Franchi Affinity 3 20 ga a pistol grip at Sportsman's Warehouse. It was very nice but 7+ lbs I'd I remember correctly. Price tag was $1149.

Nice looking gun

Shot a 12 Remington 870 special purpose 3" for years., killed many birds with shooting #4/#5 Mag Turkey loads. About 15 years ago I went to the 20 ga. Had outstanding results with the smaller gauge. Shot TSS with it for several years #8 and had great results, went to a Charles Dailey single shot 410 bore last year using # 9 TSS , 1shot 1 dead turkey. No I did not shoot him at 80 yards, was about 35 yards but stone cold dead. So you guys go ahead and shoot you 3.5 inch 10 gauge if you want, all you are punishing is yourself (IMO)

There I fixed it

I shouldered the Franchi 3 Affinity, at least I think that was the model. It sure did feel good. It was the 26", 20 gauge. One of y'all probably know, is that model made with a 22 or 24" barrel?
They did make it in solid black compact with a youth stock and a 24" barrel. (Model 41080). I believe you can buy spacers to add to the stock to make it adult length.

Finally!!

Got the 410 a month ago and looked this morning and they had the 20 in stock! Looking forward to patterning both of them.
I got the 20ga last year. I love that thing. A lot lighter than my 870. I put a .555 Indian creek on it. Been debating on the 410 but long as my 8yr old doesn't complain about it he'll just shoot the 20 again.
