Looking to buy Cellular trail cams….what you suggest?

I picked up a couple of the Browning Pro Scout Extreme HD. Picture quality is great. Have concerns with image capture and cell reception but will update as I get more info. I have these at my house and can see one off my back porch which had deer and turkey in front for a while but only got 1 pic. I also had 2 bars 5g on my phone and it reads poor cell coverage. I'll let you know.

All the cams (regardless of brand) SHOULD now be providing excellent imagery.

As to your having only 2 bars 5g, that may mean poor cell service with most cell cams, not just this particular model.

I'm not sure about this, but 5g may not be helping you with most cell cams, which are probably only using 4g.

Regarding the Browning Pro Scout Extreme HD, it doesn't have an external antennae, which may hurt its reception a bit over cams with externals.

I do "like" that this cam requires only 8 AAs, but the full HD (all the time) is a mixed blessing, as it dramatically reduces battery life. That said, battery life is still relatively good for this model.

Well I sent all four cameras back to Browning. Too many issues and even though some were resolved I couldn't deal with the inconsistent triggers. I hand sowed my plots and two had the new cameras on them with 10 second delay. On both plots, I only got 2 pics of me walking grids with my seeder and these are only 1/3 acre plots. Not willing to pay $50 a month ($15 1st cam and $10 each additional) for a camera that misses so many pictures. Also neither camera captured a single night pic in 4 days. I was hopeful but left disappointed.

I got my first this winter , it was a stealth fusion x pro. I knew absolutely nothing about them but since it was a gift I gave it a try. The thing has worked flawlessly and 600 pictures are 5 dollars a month. Probably not a top of the line camera but has worked great for me.
