1st ever deer hunt and this is what's there

Hamilton county has produced some nice deer. It's just real hard to acquire land to hunt. There is a place next to my house that I've seen a few giants on just driving through. It's land that has been for sale for 10+ years and the guy won't let anyone hunt. I've begged, offered to lease, or work for him. He still won't let anyone.

Man, I love big typicals. The general symmetry on that buck is just beautiful. That is a dream buck, right there. If somebody is lucky enough to kill him PLEASE post some pics.

You must have a really good friend because a lot of guys wouldn't tell their closest friends and family members about such a deer. ;)

It's a buddy I graduated high school with years ago - I told him I was just getting into hunting and hadn't yet harvested a deer. He's the merciful & generous type, it appears. :)
I'm certainly counting my blessings.

X2 Apison and Collegedale area have some MONSTER deer! It's just hard to get permission to hunt! I have seen with my own eye 160+ bucks!! And have heard of and seen pictures of 150+ killed!

He should let you practice on a doe or little Buck 1st. Them Big racks can cause even the most experienced hunters to get Buck fever and the shakes. Bow, M.L. or Big Gun ??

DND - why, you offering a place to hunt??? :)

WESTTN- If I don't feel like I can humanely take him, I'll let him go. The last thing I want to do is wound him without taking him.

Ultimately, I'm assuming he'll tell me to let him go if I see him, which I'd be completely fine with - as you can see, his place is teeming with worthy adversaries. :)
