To say I'm disappointed is an understatement! More of the same from Mathewssuper short, split limbs and slower speeds and modified previous years models that they have only slightly changed. It seems that they are more interested in making their bows aesthetically pleasing than they are advancing the design and shootability. I am planning on upgrading my Reezen this year, but Mathews is doing their best to cause me not to stay with them, especially since I've already shot the new Elite Energy 35 and last years Creed and Chill. When this elbow heals, I'll likely be shooting something different, but Mathews is not getting any loyalty points from me like they have in the pastcompanies like Elite and Hoyt have caught them I'm afraid.

same here they lost me over the past three or four years, just not impressed, i shot the creed and would have rather had a 6-8 year old bear bow than the new matthews!!!!

Yeah, it was sort of a "meh" moment for me. I'm still liking my Monster 7. Shooting the Creed didn't make me want to "upgrade."

Just looked at the website. The ChillR is a fancied up MR6 and the new Creed XS is a joke.

I like Mathews but they haven't really done anything impressive in the past couple years.

I'm not be impressed either. If they don't make some major changes in a few years they are going to loose a lot of business a lot of people already jumping ship.

I agree I was anxious to look at their site this morning but I was disappointed. I was really hoping for something totally new in the dual cam line not just an upgraded chill.

I went and got a drenaline when they came out. I am very happy with it and hope it lasts me several more years. But since the drenaline and switchback, I think Mathews has just been throwing out new bows just to sell instead of making them better. If Mathews is still like this when I am in the bow market again, I will likely look elsewhere. I have always been one to shy away from something that is heavily advertised.

They are just like any other business, just marketing trying to make money. too many bowhunters I believe get a brand new bow every season. Aint for me.

Just like the newest turkey humper decoys, invisible cloak camo, grunt-sniffer-wheezer-moaner-bleater deer call, and 100% scent free clothing.

Woodsman you hit it on the head. How much can they advance??? When PSE did those new limbs everyone chased them now all the bows look alike.

OIC said the blind man to his deaf wife! Y'all are finally beginning to see the light, and the effects of the Mathews Kewl-aid is beginning to wear off!

This is just more of the same re-packaging of the previous years bows in a slightly different flavor, which will be advertised out the wazoo! Nobody does this better than Mathews, nobody!

Mathews is going to loose some significant ground this year!

I agree 110%. I'm sure there will still be some with that "superiority complex" that seems to be so rampant with Mathews shooters. I noticed though that it is starting to wear off for some of them though. They lost me as a customer by their shooters and dealers having that complex...that Mathews was #1 no matter what, and everything else was junk. I guess people have started to wake up and see that just because they put a new sticker and a "monkey tail" on the string, doesn't mean it's cutting edge innovation and #1.

My loyalty is with the pro shop and not the manufacturer, I have been going to them for 35 yrs... They opened in 1978 I was 8 years old. They are a family owned business and yes they do carry Mathews along with PSE and Mission of course. Just like myself most people in my area are loyal to them and not the name on the bow...If he was to drop Mathews and pick up whoever I would still be loyal to him. Bent Arrow Archery is hands down the finest pro shop I have ever been in...
