2024 Kill Thread

Most successful opening week of muzzleloader and I am just now finishing the work. So glad its over. A friend and I both tagged out and my nephew got one. I was trying to put him on a nice one but thankfully it did not show up until after he left. I don't think I could have processed another deer. The bottom pic is the deer I was trying to put him on. It did not show up in daylight until after he left. We put over 300 pounds of deer meat in the freezer.

Congrats to all

I had posted this kill info in the Trail-Camera Forum, but not here in the Deer Hunting Forum. So here it is:

Killed opening evening of muzzleloader, just at total dark in the pouring rain. He followed a doe out into a food plot. Wasn't even sure which buck I was shooting out of my photo inventory. Just knew it was a mature buck with a couple of tall tines. 4 1/2 years old, 207 lbs live, 10-point grossing 126 3/8.
