I heard a shot too at about 7 am. Just assumed it was someone shooting a stray dog since there are alot around here.

Figured I'd throw an observation sit tonight given the hot and windy conditions, and save some better spots for later in the next week or so.

Ridiculous to be sweating this much in Nov. Just had a decent lil 7 or come by that will be nice in a couple years.

I bought a new stand to put up my back field,coyote, deer hunt.i got a skirt to put around it when I get time.My grand daughter was trying it out.

My neighbor built my daughter a hunting house last year that's nice.

Little different hunting this morning. Wind is 20+ mph with gusts even more. I have a lot of ash trees around my stands back here I don't trust. Opted to set in the tall grass for safety reasons. Seen one buck at 6:04.

Day three. 11:08 am. Never killed a reallybig deer or even seen one in the middle of the day. I know everybody else does it but not me.Heres the one I'm looking for. This pic was late june.should be much bigger.

On the ground again but came to my other farm this afternoon.

Did go to my property but once there found out my Xbow is broke right pass the trigger . Thought well it'll be off but maybe I could shoot one close ....dang thing wont hook up to shoot . So another bust .... just looked around went back home and got my Mathews out . Cranked it down about 3/4 turn and and shot it about 20 times with no shoulder pain. Adjusted my sights and it's humming so may take it out before season closes . Felt good shooting my bow ..dislike these Xbows .

That's unfortunate. I'm not really a fan of most crossbows either due to one exploding in my face. I just don't trust them anymore.
