2024 Live from the stand

First sit in the new box blind we set up a few weeks ago. Hopefully I can catch a decent buck traveling through. Dang saw briars blocking the view as they travel up the point of the hollow

Got them cleared
Out now

Hoping to get back out this afternoon.

Video of the young 8 from this morning, he had been trailing a little bigger buck that was hot on a doe. Called with can call and a couple grunts and he changed course and took a trall in front of me. Could be nice in a couple years.

I've posted views of a box blind I call the bow condo. Well look what was at the feeder 30 yards from the bow condo. My deer have not really been eating corn since I have a lot of white oak acorns on the ground. Think he just pulled a quick drive through snack then back to chasing the lady's. While this was happening over there today at 3pm I was at a ladder stand called the rock stand. I watched another shooter chase a doe around in circles and try to chase off two other bucks for an hour and a half. For those that don't know I already have my buck. Views of the rock stand to come maybe tomorrow.

Very nice. My son still has a KY buck tag from our WMA hunt if you have too many shooters. Lol. Sounds like you've got a nice place and some nice views.

Thank you on the comment about my place. It's been a lot of work but it's paying off. I had what I call 5 shooters (3 1/2 - 6 1/2 yr olds). One left at velvet shed, one left beginning of October. That is normal over here. But also one or two seem to show up. The one I killed October 16 was one that just showed up. He was not on any of my 11 cameras until the night before. I have a father and son hunting with me. Father and I have killed our bucks and four does so far. The son still has to kill a buck and hopefully a doe or two.
