Headed to hunt with a brother from church on private. It's up in a holler with no service. Will post pictures later. It's a meat hunt so if it's brown it's down. Seed, breed, and generation! LOL Hope those that are able to get out have a successful day!!

Since every day in the woods is a good day, it was a good day to be in the woods. Crazy wind changes. Didn't see any kind of critter at all. Beautiful morning!!

A bit of frustration setting in here, caught some boys on us last week coon hunting, i guess They had been all over where one of my stands is at. Their dogs weren't even on me when I caught them, but they were. Then the last time I got out I could hear a dog running the bottom parallel to my line nearly the entire time I was out, didn't see squat. Cameras have gone pretty well dead since.

Thankful for another sunrise though. Quiet calm beautiful morning so far. Hoping things turn around, not much season left.

Hate that for you. Coon hunting doesn't bother me as much as the entitlement that comes with most coon hunters (yes I said most, not all). I truly don't think coon hunting has a huge impact on deer movement. But most coon hunters think it's night time and no one is out so it's a free for all and they can go wherever they want.

Hopefully your issue is resolved and it doesn't happen again.

Pretty sure these were the ones on me last year when we got trail cam pics. I will have to revisit that thread. I pulled the card from the nearest camera where they crossed on to me, will have to compare pics.

Our dogs had been going nuts and I found out why when I looked from my back porch, red and green lights lighting up my woods like Christmas lights. Grabbed my 9 and shtf ar and took off. The fat sumbeech I caught up to first tried to ignore me. When he finally turned around, first words out of his mouth were i am with that man over there. By then I was pissed and told him I didn't give a damned who he was with, he needed to get off my property. Other guy and the dogs were right at the line. They had a kid with them, and they kept stopping and shining lights in the trees. I had to tell them several times they were still on me and to leave.

I guess the boy that was with them, that never got close, was the new owner of that property's son. Sucks that just because they are done deer hunting that they run dogs and think that gives them some kind of right to trample all over others property.

They most definitely do impact deer hunting.

I have seen one button buck this morning. Still out now. Supposed to be rain moving back in this afternoon and cold front, may try to get back out this afternoon.

Had seven deer in the plot when I got to the bottom of my ladder, they were pretty focused on feeding. Timed it just right and managed to get up past the canvas and slip in without blowing them out. Young 8 has been pestering a couple of the does, and got in a light sparring match with a one sided spike.
