Walking down the old logging road to my stand this morning was one of the coolest walks I've had. Moon was bright and dog throughout the woods. Was pretty awesome.

Almost slept in after staying up late and watching the Tyson fight. Glad I didn't.

I hereby vote that all snacks that would be considered hunting snack be put into small quiet to open boxes!!! Hear hear!!

2nd hunt 1st morning. Brightest moon I can recall in a long time. No deer yet but saw 5-6 turkeys come off roost. All but one landed in the woods and the one that hit the field edge was a longbeard. They get my blood going.

Five does and two doe fawns been through in the last 30 minutes or so. No bucks. Guess I am gonna have to give this stand a little break. Only hunted it 4 times, but just got pegged by an old doe about 30 minutes ago when I was raising my binoculars to see if there was a buck following them, and then again just a minute ago a different doe that just wigged out about 10 steps from the bottom of my stand. She didn't cross my boot tracks and what little wind was right, never looked up either.

Odd to see so many does in the middle of November and no bucks in tow....

2 bucks and 4 does here. Got one doe bedded about 60 yards away and a busted up buck won't leave her. Seen another small buck chasing a doe. I'm at 198 deer seen for the year. 50 bucks and 148 does. Hoping to hit #200 on this hunt.

At the back 40 of my little 8 scre parcel.
Good buck busted me early, not being able to hear is terrible. He had me pegged before I had a clue where he was.
Couple other small bucks, does and buttons thru…. I'm just happy to see deer

Coyote #4 down for the week. Never seen this many out here before. There was another with this one I didn't see til I shot.
