2024 Live from the stand

Well ...the deer aren't kidnapped ...I finally seen one . Thought it might be a doe so I'm getting turned to get a shot and it's a dang little buck . Wasn't wanting one for myself but for the landowner that let's me hunt ...I just couldn't shoot that little buck though . Thinking he was a spike . Never heard him come up between the saddle just looked and there he was.

I got him y'all !! He didn't run far. I've been gutting him out. I will post more pics later.View attachment 252955

I'm so very grateful for this buck and for the good family memories that will be made eating him. Thank you, Lord ! And thank you to my family for being right there with me. I am beyond grateful.

A few pictures from this weekend. We only have two known shooters on the 730 acre place we hunt, but anything can happen in November. The grandson (11 yo) of one of the guys we hunt with killed the biggest buck we had pictures of last weekend. It field dressed 200 pounds - the heaviest deer we've weighed in 15 years. It was his second deer, his first being a 3 point.
