2024 Live from the stand

They say CWD is in a county/state long before they discover it there. Realistically though, it's probably just your neighbors shooting the deer you pass or they are getting hit by cars.

Maybe, was pretty late in the season last year we still had a couple 3.5 and 4.5 year olds around, and several 2.5's. CWD is supposed to be more prominent in older age class bucks. Don't know.

Just busted a yote walking across my plot about 100 yards out. As the smoke was clearing I saw a paw in the air twitching, then it stopped. Guess I may need to reload in case another shows.

Little guy just came by, probably the and one I saw earlier. Looks like he has maybe been on the losing end of a fight, bare hide on the tops of both shoulders.

First kill of the year, sure felt good to squeeze the trigger on the accura this morning. Best kind of coyote.
