Back where I let the basket 8 and the largest doe I've seen in TN walk. They both have a free ticket to ride home in the back of my truck this evenin'! I'm still settin' on 2 buck tags. I ain't picky!!

Very calm this morning in Wilson County, hopefully something will give me a shot.

Wind picked up significantly here and drove me out of the stand early. Likely won't go this afternoon unless it dies down a lot.

Wasn't going to go because of the wind but the property owner said i should go ahead as the stand is in a bottom where they take refuge from the wind. So, figured I would prepare accordingly.

Headed that way now.

In the stand with this little fellow trying to get his first buck. He passed on 4 today. The rut is obviously still on in Sequatchie county. I had to laugh at this fat spike though.

Still looks as if his face is off color to me . Piebalds also sometimes look stubby like their legs are short . Oh well I'm old
