Think it was just playing with a clump leaves. Watching the button buck watching the cat was pretty interesting.

Late season food sources are usually good. My clover and wheat plot looks like it's been cut by a mower. Already had a young 8 in the plot. Much windier this morning than any of the forecasts had, and left my facemask/hood behind.

Most likely the last chance I'll have to sit this stand this season. The right wind doesn't come along very often. God blessed me to be able to hunt it one more time! Hope every one able to get after it this evenin' has good success!!

I wasn't going to go this afternoon, but here I am. Two things motivated me to get out here:
1. I can't kill them from my recliner (ok, technically I could, but that gets into unhappy wife territory)
2. The wind is perfect for the stand I'm in and I'm pretty sure I saw a really nice buck just past dark the other night in the area of this stand.
