Got lucky to finally set up correctly where 2 toms have evaded me all year. Ground to gun in about 9mins

Interesting part was when I shot him he flopped for a second and the cows in the field about 200yds out came charging in. I had to actually run out there to get the cows off from stomping him lol. That's a first for me

Got him and to the truck about 5mins before the rain came I

Did you set up based on their trends from watching them on previous trips?


Problem is they never do the same thing 2x. But after 2 weeks of movement just took the law of averages this morning. The luck part was for once they flew down to one side and the hens flew down to the other which finally allowed me to call them to me while they were already headed in my direction anyways
