Thanks for letting me join. I just purchased a Browning Model 71 .348. I'm looking for Hornady 200grn FTX bullets. I'm also looking for brass and bullets to reload. Any help would deeply appreciated. thanks.

Avoid the temptation to load maximum charges. The rifle can handle them fine but the brass stretches and this will cause shorter case life. With 348 brass being hard to find, doing everything possible to maximize case life is wise. Loads in the 3300-3400 fps range with a 200 grain bullet are plenty powerful.

The 200 grain bullets are the most common but, in my opinion, are alittle stout for deer. They do not expand much but they do get the job done. The Hawk 180 grain bullet is a better choice. The Hawk 165 grain bullets are devastating on deer.
