That's a very nice buck. Congrats to you !!
When you run out of sign(blood) go back to last spot... I've done it many times!

Delayed expansion? What bullet has that?I'll take rapid expansion over delayed expansion, especially on a whitetail
I would expect that you find portions of the bullet in the deer and a fragment is what exited.I took the Easy Shot behind the shoulder, exit wound was very small no blood on either side. Three tiny droplets of blood total in 75 yards.
Bonded bullets in general.Delayed expansion? What bullet has that?
My freezer is full of deer killed the nosler bullets. It's funny how opinions change. I like the rapid expansion of the BT more than an accubond. I personally would go in a different direction than a nosler bullet
Barnes bullets are great but for deer light for caliber bullets are best. And better if pushed fast as possibleGo to a TTSX and leave your problems behind
I didn't say they're bad, just that I'd use something different. I think the NBT is a great bullet, but nosler has lost their minds in the last few years with their pricing. And yes, sps has seconds and they're still expensive. My freezer is full of deer killed the nosler bullets.
I recommend the op kill another deer with his load and see if he gets different results. Bullet for strange things sometimes due to a multitude of factors. Deer are not a consistent medium
