I traded for this gun in 1991 from Hulme's sporting goods in Paris, TN. I have traded guns for over 50 years never seen another 870 Express like this one, (not to say there isn't any) I just haven't seen one. Has the same checkering pattern as the 870 Wingmaster and beautiful walnut wood. It has set in my safe unfired for all these years. Been looking for the box but after building a new house about 25 years ago it got lost. Anybody seen one like this?

The gun was brand new when I traded for it in the box!!
Just found this Gunbroker 1052998914
Then it must have been some kind of odd custom order because the express wood was always a very plain birch or laminate. Walnut was reserved for the wingmasters
I understand that I have traded for several over the years. Just found this Gunbroker 1052998914 same gun, another odd custom order.
