A Nice Surprise

Last spring I noticed an outbreak of Calleries or Bradford Pear in an area where logging trucks loaded in the past. I found them while they were flowering before the woods had greened up. Yesterday I went back to find any that I may have missed. I could not find a single one! They would be visible now if there were any. YAY for the chainsaw and machete! I have enough invasive problems without those darn things.

They will definitely take over if you let them.

I only had to fight one battle but I believe I won the war. At least as far as I can tell and only against those, there's still other enemies.!
