Had to be talking to me as I'm the only OC shooter in the thread, but they don't know me that well.....last year was my first year in OC--I was in hunter class previously.

Who was you talking to Dixie Crafter? You quoted 3 different folks. haha. I've never shot O.C. before so it will be my first go. I don't even have an "open" setup yet. I have the sight but nothing else. I don't see how folks can be a sand bagger these days. The classes have a low winout bar...a podium finish would nearly seal the deal and require a move up...or shooting in top 15 in two or three shoots, never even get on the podium, and that would do it too. I don't know why a person would choose to go to a national shoot and intentionally shoot bad. It's a lose/lose doing that. Hopefully I will be in K45 next. There's some awesome shooting going on in that class. I'm gonna get my feet wet in open class first and see how it goes. I can already tell ya that I hate the target sight with lens. I may be shooting Open with fixed pins.
you will get accustomed to the one pin sight . I love a one pin , but the pin has to come down from the top or I hate it .

My bad! My comments were directed to TNDeerGuy, who likes camping out in OC where they feed the yardage to you! He's (AW) a much better shot than that and he should take the training wheels off and shoot it all unknown!
