Called in a another big one today and I didn't see him come n he gobbled and heard him coming so I reached for a stick to make scratching sounds and he was right there 50 yrds looking right at me was coming n on a string til he seen me moved then he turned and I shot anyways completely missed him maybe tomorrow

Sorry you didn't get him,but I must ask why were you reaching for a scratch stick? Usually that wouldn't be needed until it's evident the bird hung up.
