and the wannabe legend strikes again

He didn't do anything wrong..well maybe got on the gas just a little to soon. That's just racing. I'm glad the busch brothers are out

not really. he already got a 1 lap penalty for shooting the pit.

5 lap penalty? then he would have "no" chance in winning. LOL!

That cause it was just racing and not on purpose. In the Nationwide race yesterday, there was one guy who did that on purpose and NASCAR gave him a 5 lap penalty. I'm sure the officals looked hard at the videos of the wreck

i like jr but did not like his dad because of stuff like he just did.if nascar doesn't get him for rough driving because he is the golden boy then i am about to give up on it like a lot of other people have.it seems like they pick on the small guys and let the others get away with worse stuff.

I agree !! People hates the 18... he isnt my favorite, but at least he wins races. At the rate Jr wins...Kyle won enough races last year that the 88 could retire on.

If a car gets a run on you like that and you block like that odds are its gonna be a wreck.

The 18 should have got spun several times the way he was blocking while in the lead.

Wrecks like that are a recipe of the restrictor plate.

blocking didnt cause that wreck... Jr hitting the quarter panel of the Redbull caused that wreck.

Restrictor plate races does create too many accidents... this was caused by (Jr's words...being frustrated)

Funny Kurt finished 10th and Jr finished 27th ;)

I'm a Junior fan but he was definitely in the wrong. He had a great run going to get around him and he dropped down and when Junior came back up he barely touched him which is all it takes. The commentators kept saying how Junior was trying to get in front so he could get the lucky dog position on the next caution but when interviewed after the race he said he didn't know why the race leaders would be blocking him and racing him hard. So either he was BSing about it or truly didn't know.

I have read everything people have said. NO ONE says nothing about what vickers did. It should all start with the guy who throws the first punch. At least thats the way it went in grade school and the way I was taught growing up. He shoved Jr down into the infield, so much to the fact, he initiated first contact. Jr had a clean run on Vickers, how hard would it have been to just move over, they both coulda got their laps back!! But like i said no one sees this. Jr did move over and let people by if they had runs on him!!! and trust me, he is nothing like his dad, vickers would have NEVER tried to block SR. I guarentee that.

if jr would have backed off the gas at all he would have lost momentum and went straight to the back. he's lucky he didnt wreck when he got shoved on to the apron, but he kept it wide open and happened to clip vickers. if it was anybodys fault it was vickers for running him off the track. does anybody remember a few years back when jr was leading at talladega and vickers clipped jimmie johnson and then jimmie hit junior and they both wrecked and vickers won? what comes around goes around. jr does need to work on them pit stops though lol.

Exactly or else Jr would have let off and everyone behind him would have bunched up and possibly caused an even bigger wreck!! Jr had a run and Vickers threw a block, he got what he deserved, next time maybe he will hold his line and be passed. If anything NASCAR should stop the blocking BS and then the faster car can pass and go on about his business!!

Either one of them could have avioded the wreck. IMO if you decide to move over that far to block, then be prepared to possibley get bumped. Junior could have also backed off just a little and also avoided the wreck. There where several close calls during the race by drivers doing the same thing, only they didn't get together.

I am not a Jr. fan, but I think he is getting alot of heat for something that wasnt all his fault. But then again, who cares what I think? Ha Ha

amen, i think everyone is throwing the blame on him, mainly because everyone on TV said he caused it. Its all media I would have to say. The first hit of the whole incident was vickers coming down on jr. But Vickers cried harry carry first so the blame goes to jr. bad wrap!!!
