That's a good plan on waiting for them to move during daylight. I do that every year. I let my cameras hunt for me and place them where I can get to them easily. If I start seeing the deer showing up within a couple hours of shooting light I then start to pressure him.

Mr. 8 point has returned! They harvested the corn surrounding this little wooded thicket this weekend, and he showed his face again! I'm pretty pumped that he is still around. Still in the dark, but at least he's not gone. Interesting observation... I'm getting a picture of one of the two bucks every ~8 days. Same pattern for the past month.
And look at that neck! There were 2 new rubs around my camera since last Thursday.
