Anybody starting early?

Tag punched in South Carolina this morning. Gobbled one on the limb and then again about 8:30 to my blind calling. Showed up about 9:00.
First bird in SC, first bird with the Affinity 3.

Congratulations! I'm assuming the Affinity sales are through the roof since the Pinhoti Project got so popular. Just curious, are you working on a US super slam?

Had this gun for a couple years now just trying to get it like I want it. Nice gun but I prefer my SA-459...
Yes Chasing 49, not sure if I'll ever make it but I'm gonna have fun trying. Half way there.

I didn't mean to insinuate you bought it just because that's what Dave shoots, but I see how it came across that way. I do see lots of guys online buying them now. 49 is a heck of a feat. Hell, half that is incredible!

Hunted hard all freaking day Saturday in MS. Only heard one bird gobble and he was across a creek that is the property line. I got 50 yards from him on the roost hoping for a miracle that he would fly the creek, but you know the rest. The remainder of the day was uneventful with nothing but hens.

Congratulations Mega and Roost, glad to see you guys had success. It's driving the rest of us nuts wanting to get out there and chase birds.

Thanks but I'm not making FL this year. Rest of my schedule looks like this GA, TN, VA, KY, MI. Will be my first
time hunting VA. Of course all this could change depending on corona.
