To which you replied "then I'm the lord of this land and I'm about to get Medieval on your arse!"Been down that road as well. Had a couple once tell me that it "wasn't my land, or their's, it was The Lord's land."

Why in the world would you set out a trap for the dog who is just going where his owner is taking them. Maybe I should start doing that to the fkn neighborhood kids who cut through my 20 acres. I do not understand how some people have this mindset. Yeah let's take the dogs leg off that will really teach the one responsible. No different than blaming the gun for some gangbanger shooting someone.Wanna fix it fast? Set out a 4 coil trap fer that fkn dog
I agree. I trap alot and statements that include using a trap to catch the dog or even saying that the dog will lose a leg which they wont granted it will be sore for a couple days is why trappers are looked down upon. Its hard enough to aquire land you can hunt even harder when you are trying to find land to trap. Why in the world would you set out a trap for the dog who is just going where his owner is taking them. Yeah I am not a trapper so I may have overstated the strength of the trap, but you get my point. A better way is to put some artillery simulators about 15 feet up in a tree and string some 550 cord about 4 feet off the ground. Won't kill or maim him permanently when he starts running, but it will make him wish his mother never met his father.I agree. Now atta boy!!I happened to wake up one night and saw flashlights up on the hill behind my
house on the neighbors farm. I was unaware that he had given anyone
permission to hunt the place but it was late/early and I didn't want to wake
him to ask. I got dressed and loaded the 12 gauge and walked up the hillside
on my property. I sat down about 75 yards from the fence and
watched/listened as his dog worked the hillside in the moonlight. His dog
went under the fence and ran up beside me. I was surprised but my dog, a
pit, that was with me sat quietly and watched as his dog ran up sniffed us
and ran beyond sounding off. A few moments later the flashlights were at my
fence. The first one came through as I clicked off the safety. The moment I
felt the second individual was halfway through I rang the bell rolling of
the rounds. The first guy left his flashlight on my side and some other
items, the second a half a pair of pants. I never got a call of complaint
from my neighbor and I still haven't woke up to flashlights on the hill. That was 20 years ago.....probably end up before a judge regardless today.
I really need some if you have any to spare would be extremely funny to watch the local meth heads mess themselves lolYeah I am not a trapper so I may have overstated the strength of the trap, but you get my point. That was not a good idea, but to each his own.I happened to wake up one night and saw flashlights up on the hill behind my

Yes Carlos.....to each his own. Your property is like your wife, your children and your future......to each his own! That was not a good idea, but to each his own.
Also if it's your stuff.....come get it!That was not a good idea, but to each his own.
Second thought , my 1st trespasser at my new farm had been told explicitly no trespassing just 3 days prior to me catching him. He owns a ton of land. The other guy is indeed a top 10 wanted career criminal felony melony type that was carrying a gun and most likely casing the neighbors new home building project. Was it really like this in the "good ole days"? Someone cross a property line and the landowner considers plastering their face everywhere, trying to trap dogs, and firing shells right by th
