Arctic Shield boot blankets

I don't use mine often at all, but i used to like to pull my boots off, put them on and drop in a couple body warmers in them. Like having your tootsies next to a roaring fire.

I use the ones with a sticky side,( feet & toe warmers) they are actually made for the socks they sell. Normally put one on the outside of my Tee shirt just under my neck so my chest doesn't get cold, have had pneumonia too many times over the years and this seems to keep me from sucking in to much cold air. I also put one on the backside of my neck ,if I get cold there I'm done
Note it really needs to be cold to do this or you'll be HOT quickly

I have a pair but have not used them. Do I put them over my boots or just put my sock-feet in them?
I've done both, these just insulate the warmth that is already in there, which is why they tell you to put them in as soon as you get to your stand. Putting just my feet in there felt better though.

I expanded my boot experiment this past weekend. I have struggled with cold feet too often. Saturday morning it was 21 degrees and I had non insulated, ankle Mucks with a toasty toe on the bottom of each sock. Once in the stand I put the boot blankets on over my boots and placed a hand warmer inside on top of my toe area. Did not have any issues whatsoever! Very happy.

Saturday morning, I was wearing them over Dryshod uninsulated boots. I had a had warmer in each and a toe warmer on as well. When I took the boot blankets off to walk out, I felt a noticeable difference immediately.

I will also say my feet sweat a lot. I've not tried spraying with antiperspirant but I have started using a light polyester liner sock under wool socks and it seems to make a difference.

I can determine the temperature based on how long it takes for my feet to get cold. 20 degrees = 20 minutes. 30 degrees = 30 minutes. About 45 degrees is the point where they do not get cold. The boot blankets don't work over my boots. I have to take off my boots, put on 2+ pairs of thick socks, put on the Arctic Shields, and throw in a couple of handwarmers. Considering adding some of those fuzzy slippers as standing in sock feet isn't so comfortable.
