Who all is planning on attending any Pro Ams this year ? If so list up which ones your going to and maybe we can all meet up .

I'm going to Florida , Benning , the new Alabama venue , and Kentucky . Won't be able to go to Illinois this year since my wife is due on that weekend :)

Florida and the Classic.

I did not enjoy the Kentucky shoot even though it was probably the closest one to me. I love the Florida shoot though.
you should try and go to benning . It's a fun shoot .

we've been to ASA shoots at ft. benning before. Illinois was always our favorite but we haven't been in a couple of years.

You know how life kinda jumps up from time to time to throw a monkey wrench in the best of plans! Sorta like the wife getting pregnant?

Just remember this ancient Chinese proverb: Spooning leads to forking!

LOL you said that like you didn't have any thing to do with it...like she came down with the flu or something on her own. Hahah. That's what those cold and rainy days/nights do for ya right there.

lol It's more like a demonic possession and flu combo . 9 months of crazy woman mixed with a little projectile vomiting and a slight hint of happiness every once in a while ;)

I'm really hoping to at least go to KY and Metropolis. Illinois is my absolute favorite and I miss my archery buddies.

What was wrong with KY? Didn't you like the extreme uphill and downhill shots in the rain and the fog? Or did you shoot the powerline?

The take I gather from some of the really seasoned ASA shooters, they said that this years London shoot was set up the hardest and easiest they had ever seen! Open B and K45 shot the same ranges I think and these shooters had the same story Range F the hardest they'd seen and K range the easiest with 11-12 targets at 33 yds.

I know I didn't really appreciate the 8 I shot on the 43-44 yard steep uphill javelina, in the fog no less!

I shot on the powerline. The shots themselves weren't hard at all. I just didn't like the venue itself. IMO it was ran more like what I would expect a state level shoot to be, instead of a national level Pro/Am. The biggest gripe I actually had, wasn't the walking up and down the power line...it was the Pro's and Semi Pros that got me. They got to drive to their ranges on the power line, instead of walking like the rest of us...and they went right through the middle of all the spectators and shooters already on the other ranges. They kicked up quite a dust storm on all of us and didn't seem to care enough to slow down at all to keep the dust to a minimum. I had on a white shirt before they came through and by the time they all drove past us, my shirt was red/orange from dirt. One even had his radio blasting the whole way down through there, but I read on ArcheryTalk that ASA did DQ him for doing that.

I have heard these exact words repeated many times and I agree with you!
