Asking for advise/ 20ga choke n tss

what's everyone thoughts on ported choke tubes as far as recoil reduction? Just pulled out an 870 youth a bought a long time ago and will try to turkey hunt with it this year in hopes my little ones will use in the coming years.
575 non ported Carlsons is hard to beat in an 870. Let your little ones practice with dove loads and then put a TSS in for the moment of truth. That's what I did with my son, and he killed his first at 8 years old with no notice of recoils.

I need some advise. It looks like I may need to buy a grandkid a 20 ga for turkey season. I know zero about the TSS shot. What is the recommended choke for that type of shot?
Thanks
I would say for a youngster I would go for a more open pattern with some leeway. Look at the Indian Creek .570 or .562, Jebs .565 or a Tru Lock. There are several good ammo companies. Foxtrot, Apex, Rogue or Burgess Creek in #9 should get the job done
