Barometric pressure

This is something I've never really kept up with but what's the deal with pressure vs deer movement?

Pressure dropping is supposed to equate to better movement, particularly when the pressure gets around 30.

Well that's what it is now and I've been in the stand since 1:30 and ain't seen a deer yet haha

My personal observation is that high pressure is your friend. 30.25 and up means I need to be in a tree!

If i am not mistaken the sweet spot is 29.90-30.30. With 30.10-30.30 optimal

They don't seem to be moving here either. Squirrels aren't even very active.

Never paid any attention or even know how to look at barometric pressure. I just hunt. I've killed deer in warm temps and wind where you'd think they wouldn't be moving. And have not seen deer on a perfect, no wind cold day. Deer are going to move regardless. Where at and what time no one knows.

Thought I had the perfect morning. Saw two small does. Not to much squirrel activity until a stray cat came walking by. Just dead.

These are my thoughts as well, but I try to play the wind. Just curious if pressure ever played into anything, as I've never kept tract of this.
