All these posts on multi bearded birds...How many have killed multi bearded birds? I've killed several. The most any of mine had were 9 beards.

No idea, maybe 8-10. I think one triplebeard and the rest doubles.

I've killed a bunch of them, beards never have gotten me wound up too much. Most I've killed had 3 beards, I think. Like I said I don't pay attention to a birds beard much.

Lots of multi bearded birds are actually birds that the beard was split giving the appearance of multiple beards. I've noticed it in pics this year, just choose to not say anything.

Yea I see alot of split beards called double bearded. For me ive killed 2 double bearded.

I think it's generated to certain areas

Never killed one myself. My dad has killed 1 that had a double beard. Both were full like a normal beard and each were 11". That's the closest I've ever been to one.

I still haven't killed one with multiple beards. Since I started in 2011 I've killed 2 jakes and 14 longbeards if I am counting correctly, so I guess I need some more under my belt.

Out of all the birds I have shot and the ones shot by people I have taken, I have never seen a bird with more than one beard.

I killed 3 doubles, one triple, and one quad. It's big spurs I like, but one of my buddies once killed one with double 11" thick ropes. Never seen another even close to that one.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This for me too. I have never seen one to my knowledge.

We had a lease in wayne county once when wayne county had the birds and I'd be willing to bet half the gobblers on that place had multiple beards
I've never seen a multi bearded bird in my area of Lawrence county
