I did not get an opportunity at this big boy last season. Have not seen him so far this season!

Nice looking buck.

Noticed your pic date was early August 2014.
Odds are high this buck's "fall" range was centered over a mile away from where you obtained that August pic. Could explain why you never saw him again. Most of the August buck pics I get end up being killed over a mile from where they were kinda "hangin' out" during the summer months.

i have typically had the same results on my farms...the beautiful flip side to this fact is that you never know what deer is going to tend up range shifting on to your place!!!

I tend to hold them until late October, early November, then they start rambling.

I've killed two deer I've got on camera in 5 years. I've had one other killed by a buddy on the property.

I've had 3 killed on adjoining properties.
