I've had 23 sits this year. Besides youth day when both kids killed 8 points I had not seen a buck period. Rain moved out today and I figured I'd go. Drove to the property and got out and started walking when a doe came busting across the ridge in front of me. He was close behind. I had to holler to get him to stop and when he did all I could see was neck up. Settled in and shot. He rolled halfway down the hill. My first buck over 8 points. He was a 9. Now to wait on the big boy.
