BigAl did you mount that bird? Incredible spurs.
Yep,got him mounted on a limb in a half strut. Good way to see the spurs.

It was mounted by a taxidermist that lived near Parsons or Henderson. At the moment I can't remember his name, but short afterwards he opened a sporting goods store in Parsons. I don't think it made it.

Mark Driver, Tennessee River Taxidermy, he has mounted five birds for my family. He does a great job. Only uses freeze dried heads not the fake heads.

That's him. He did a couple of birds for me and did a great job. I would have remembered his name.....eventually.
Thx

There are some dang good spurs on here boys!

My Indiana bird this year didn't have the longest spurs I've killed but it had the sharpest and the blackest. I had never killed a bird with pure black spurs before.

He is on my lease
in Decatur Co.
His Taxidermy skills have come a long way
Your mount looks 100 x better than the one he did for me

Some awesome spurs posted. I will never get tired of turning a gobbler over to see what the spurs look like. If I saw a few of these spurs on a bird I just shot I would probably pass out!
