We have a farm down by 22-100 crossing. I always just hunted Natchez Trace when I lived there. Now I'm in Memphis for a bit. Don't do much hunting since moving here, but we are about to possibly move again. Could be anywhere but with my wife's newest interview we're hoping she lands the job in Columbus OhioHey Shed! What part of the county are you in?
Same here. We had one cowhorn spike I tried and tried to get my cousin on and it just would not come out for him.Good luck on getting him. Usually the "cull bucks" I deem as culls never show in hunting season until the following year and their racks are more screwed up from the previous year and I never see them to get a shot at them. Although I did have a "cull" come through and had a slim to none chance to take him chasing 3 years ago and then the following year he literally blew up from a gangly 5pt basket rack into a 19 inch inside spread 9pt with a lot of character and ended up getting him so no rhyme or reason. I usually save the cull bucks for when my daughter goes with me so she can shoot them without bugging the crap out of me to shoot a doe or a young 2yr old with potential....lol
You aren't far from me then. I'm less than 10 minutes from that intersection. We have a farm down by 22-100 crossing.
I have a couple moultrie cams that record sound with video.what camera has sound too? That is pretty cool.
Great video! He's still around and starting to move in daylight. This scrape is 40 yards from a Condo stand (just to the left of the video frame). Hoping someone shoots him.
Are you seeing other older deer also just now starting to move during daylight? He's still around and starting to move in daylight. This scrape is 40 yards from a Condo stand (just to the left of the video frame). Hoping someone shoots him.
Just give me the coordinates, I'll invite him to lunch, and breakfast sausage. He's still around and starting to move in daylight. This scrape is 40 yards from a Condo stand (just to the left of the video frame). Hoping someone shoots him.
The 17th to 20th were CRAZY for scraping! Are you seeing other older deer also just now starting to move during daylight?
Our scraping and rubbing really picked up around 11/17-11/20. Prior to that, nothing. But that's mostly due to no older deer utilizing our property and just a select few younger bucks. Never seen a year like this, and hope I never do again.
I think he would make a lot of sausage! He's a big old dude.Just give me the coordinates, I'll invite him to lunch, and breakfast sausage.
Those Browning HP4s and HP5s are da' BOMB! I actually like the HP4 a little better because of the wide illumination at night (although not as much illumination distance as the HP5). Color and sound are a bit better on the HP5 as well. That's the clearest and best quality trail cam video I've ever seen period....I don't know how it could be any better?
The clarity on those is awesome. I'm going to have to pick up a couple just to play around with. Keep the scrape videos coming. They're great to watch.Wait, I just checked my camera map and that is an HP5. So that's what the new HP5s produce.
