Browning Lever Action 22

I have a BL22 grade 2. I love it!! It's the funnest rifle I own, I'm not a plinker type of guy but this one begs to be shot at stuff that'll react and is not alive. I've heard the triggers are terrible a lot before but this one is ok, not perfect but entirely ok.

I love them. Had a grade 1 for years, purchased a grade 2 and sold my grade 1 to a good friend. The short lever throw is wonderful. There is a trigger "kit" for them, changing of a spring (or two). I am not afraid to do it, just been too lazy.

I have a gloss Leupold 4x rimfire scope mounted currently, the short upper receiver is a challenge with the long eye relief of the scope. 99% of the time it is the opposite condition.

I bought one when I was twelve, first gun I ever bought. $112 dollars, case and brick of 22 shells. Wore out several firing pins. Liked the finish but it didn't like the thick stuff we rabbit hunted in. I refinished the stock, sent the gun away to be reblued. Never thought about a trigger kit, seemed pretty good to me at the time. Good shooting rifle. I still have it fifty three years later.
