Two things, first I'd like to know which model Stealth cam you are using if you don't mind. Also I think he's only 3.5. Pretty muscled up shoulders even for the time of year.

I agree with the 3.5 age. He is no more than that. Wait two+ more years to have yourself a real trophy.

I'm tickled to death with it so far. It's a Stealth Cam DS4K Transmit cell cam. I got it for Christmas this year, but I'm pretty sure it runs for about $250.

Nonetheless, he's a good buck for Knoxville.

Actually, his rack is probably "above average" (for a 3 1/2 or a 4 1/2) for every county in Middle TN.
Talking in terms of gross B&C score.
Averages seem much less than what most hunters think.

Personally, I think this buck was 4 1/2 (or older) in November 2022.

That is what I was thinking. I was thinking that he was around 3.5 just solely on how slender his face and neck are. He has an almost identical brother that he had been with all summer that I haven't seen since October. I had this buck at about 15 yards in November but never had a shot to present itself. Can't wait to see what he does this year.

What you said and look at the hips. Not as big as the chest. I say 3.5 also

I think 3.5 from the pics in post #18. He will be 4.5 next season. I would try to kill him then.

That is a great buck. Looks plenty mature enough to kill. Knox county and Knoxville in particular has the biggest bucks around because there are tons and tons of browse, acorns, and security. Good luck with him, he's not the only big buck in your area.
