Managed to get out Friday morning in my kayak and floated a six mile section of the Buffalo river near Lobelville. The fishing wasn't great but it was beautiful and peaceful. Didn't see another person on the river until I got within 200 yards of my take out spot.

Managed 6-8 smallmouth with the largest being between 2.5-3 pounds. Can't wait until it gets a little better in the spring.

We caught several bass. Large and small mouth. A few spots and white bass. Nothing big. From the duck and buffalo.

Nothing bit. With the change in the weather we rethunk going. Went instead and got a bunch of firewood for my friends place which should hold him until next fall and then sat around outside his camper with a nice fire and hung out mostly. Also went and did a little arrowhead hunting. Only found a few broken ones.
