Yesterday had 11 keepers and about 20 short fishing tree tops. They were still anywhere from 5 to 20 feet deep. Went back today and only had 3 keepers and didn't catch any where I got them yesterday. So you just have to find them but they aren't up shallow yet.

Been talking to a few crappie fisherman the last week or so and they're saying tree tops. The ones I've seen are all fishing less than 10 foot deep. Have also seen several big black crappie on bed while looking for bass. If the crappie don't bite get in a creek and catch one of the 37 million kentuckys that won't leave me alone. Also, there are 2 tourneys going out of Ragland Friday. One at 7, one at safelight. At least one other going out of the lower end.
