Why Trey? Saban is 64 and at the end of his college coaching career. Jimbo is in his 40,s with plenty of time left.. Not much difference in recruiting,both in top 5 classes last 5 years.Saban and Jimbo have NC last 5 years and both have 58 wins.Jimbo's upside much better at this time.We ,Fsu don't need or want right now.5 years from now,who knows.Bowden stayed 35 years. :tu:

He hinted yesterday that he thought he could coach until he was about 80. ...some analogy about his mom making a hole in 1 at that age.

Just my belief after watching and listening to him. He mentioned being an AD in football operations. Probably 3-4 years left College coaching.
That being said ,I remember when Bobby said he was only gonna coach 5 or six more years and stayed 10.
Regardless of all that ,I would still want Fisher over Saban. :tu:

Another quality post from Mudbone.

While I have talked to Cook and Winston ,I've never had the pleasure of speaking to Saban. If you listen to Paul Finebaum you could learn a lot.
Just my opinion.
