Convert to tiller or kicker

Alright guys, you're smarter than me.

Didn't sell my boat. Dumped the Lezbaru and got a Tacoma.
I sure miss a tiller steer.
I have two options I'm kicking around.
Convert my engine to a tiller or get a kicker.
If I convert to a tiller I free up a good amount of space.
If I get a kicker, I have less work.
With my current 40hp Yamaha 4 stroke, the lowest I can go is 2.7 mph trolling.
That don't cut it for walleye.
With the console removed, me and @Tenntrapper can load the boat with deers.😉

2.7 is perfect for stripers. Use a trolling plate or pull a 5 gallon bucket with a few 3/4" holes in the bottom to slow down. Also, check your prop pitch. 10 or 11 pitch are the slowest
