Cork Handle repair

I have a rod I like that shed a couple petals of the cork handle, do they make a wrap to cover it, rest of the rod is fine and not to bad just want to stop it if possible.

Amazon sells shrink wrap kits.

you can use wood filler to fill in the chips then sand smooth before you wrapnit.
