Crying shame

Just let me know. I got it out of the safe so it is ready to go. If you are going to be shooting some anyway, you should grab this one and shoot it too.I think the scope might really help you. I got on the scope kick years ago after Harold Knight told me he put one on his "client" gun after clients had missed 3-4 birds in a row. After the scope, Harold said there were zero misses. Knock on wood, but the only bird that I have missed since going to a scope was one where I misjudged the distance and he was way out there. I did wound one that I had to shoot a second time. But most are DRT when I get that head in the circle.

I should be around most of the day if you want to try it.

I feel you cat man. Saturday nothing seemed to work. Then Sunday morning I had a long beard doing it rite only to get busted by a hen trying to keep the long beard in the screen on the camera. He turned and walked the other way. I tryed a shot I probably shouldn't have. And put an arrow in his back at 37yds. Just to watch him run off. Then I made the worst mistake. I went looking for my arrow immediately after I shot. He had ran to thevedge of the field and stopped but when I got up he took to wing and flew never to be seen again. If I had stayed set. I'm confident he would have laid down and died. But you learn from your mistakes and move on. Only advise I can give you is try to count to three SLOWLY then take a big breath let half out and squeeze the trigger.

something that I noticed this year....is that I need my glasses when I use my shotgun....couldn't believe the difference when I had them on and looked down the barrel....how clear it was!

I said it multiple times last years in turkey threads and Ill say it again this year. Iron sights are the NUMBER ONE reason for turkey misses, plain and simple. Get a red dot of some kind and be done with that issue.
