His a player the vols really need to stay around.

Him & Tray smith could have been huge pieces on that Oline for 2 or 3 years together.

Smith has played awesome as a true freshman.

That's going to make for some interesting and lively discussion here.

Maybe, if it happened. It won't.
No worries. If it gets too lively, it'll get deleted.

You snooze you lose and unfortunately TN is doing a lot of snoozing these days. I have little to no faith in Currie as an AD. As long as he fires CBJ at the end of the season I will give him the benefit of the doubt all the way up until he hires the new head coach, then I will re evaluate my feelings towards him. I get the feeling that he is trying to figure out a way to let CBJ stay longer.

How do you know UT is snoozing?

Currie is going to have to earn my confidence as an AD that is really committed to bringing UT football back to competing for national titles. However, I do have confidence that he hasn't been doing nothing while Jones' bricks come tumbling down.

I want Butch out as much as anyone, but firing a coach mid-season isn't always a good idea. It didn't work out so well for the Gators Saturday.

Snoozing is an expression. CBJ has snoozed all year, all his assistants have snoozed all year, Kongbo has snoozed all year, Jumper has snoozed all year, ALOT of other players have snoozed all year.
I agree that firing a coach mid season is not always the best Idea but It dang sure wouldn't have hurt anything (in this case) IMO. I think the current players as well as recruits are seeing that Currie is looking for a reason to keep CBJ around longer.

Currie has snoozed by being so silent throughout all the anguish and record lows. I think he should be more open with his thought process. Only thoughts he has shared is that he "chooses to support the coaching staff" (more or less, I cant recall the exact statement.)

I could go on and on but no sense in it. ;)

From folks I trust Butch is telling folks close to him that he thinks he will be in play at UNC and the Arizona schools.

Being silent is not snoozing.

Nobody really knows how this story will end. UT's AD is trying to keep his finger off the trigger until after Dec. 1 to save the program 2 million dollars on CBJ's buyout.

A lot of fans are impatient and want him gone now so the program can move forward in their eyes. I'm not even sure Currie knows at this time when he will pull the trigger.

Mays has a lot of CBs coming in for the Dawgs the last few days.

Watch this video. Please hire this guy. You will love him. You would help us out immensely. He would be a breath of fresh air in Knoxville. He would recruit a bunch of 3 stars out of Alabama, Georgia, and Florida, and coach them up. They would have huge chips on their shoulders and he'd motivate them to take it out on the big schools in those states that didn't recruit them and he'd win.

Edited to add: Dantonio has done more at Michigan State than Saban ever did.

Cade will need to know how to block properly when Trevor Lawrence runs Spider 2 Y Banana so therefore he will end up a Vol. :tu:

He would be a great coach here and probably win BUT, he ain't from around here and the fans would not be able to stand him....

LOL, so Butch thinks he can limp his "infallible" offensive scheme to the PAC 12 and get a job?

He probably believes that. I'm almost convinced that Butch has something broken in his head. Maybe a tuba feel on his head during a high school band practice back in the day.
