If he is actually doing that its because Sexton cant find him a job anywhere else. He was looking for an out last season. It was rumored he had the Purdue job lined up. Then SC and Vandy happened and Purdue said na we are good.

^^This^^ apparently Butch is working some big boosters hard... Telling them he deserves another season because a couple of assistants who were excellent hires have failed to produce. One show host said Butch is even saying if he gets another year, next season will play out to be like Brian Kelly's current season at Notre Dame. Pitiful.

The good thing for Vol fans is no amount of begging is going to save his job.

He obviously doesn't have anyone interested in his services as a head coach. Well, Austin Peay may need a new coach...
